The Peruvians are a fairly new venture. Although we have had BJ’s Diesel for a few years, it is only recently that we have started to breed for show.
Diesel was bought to show in pets, and he did very well wining Best Pet out of 122 exhibits at Fareham in Dec 2007. Sadly Diesel died on 2 February 09, and will be very missed. He was a handsome boar with a fabulous coat and temperament, which he has passed on to his babies.
His Son C. Detroit has no been retired and is currnelty running with E2. He had a good show career, and was awarded 3rd 5/8 Non Self at Bradford 2009. Detroit's sister Montana, live with Jayne and Santa Fe lives with me.
My other stud boar is Aquarius Sox, not a big lad but what he lacks in size he makes up for in attitude.
Sows have come from B & E Emmett, Wicormill, Caroline Creese and Kimberley Cavies. I’m hoping to bring some babies out to show in the Spring – she says, fingers crossed.
