4 Years ago I was lucky enough to purchase a stud of Chocolate Dutch from Chris Peachey and added a boar from Julie Davies and a sow from Kevin Ledbitter. They formed the basis for my stud.
As happens with Dutch, one colour led to another, and I added some black Dutch from Julie Davis and Sue Hearn to the stud.
Dutch are truly superb cavies, full of fun and, like the T & W's, are outgoing and good eaters. Dutch breed very well and are great parents.
My house move made me reconsider the amount of marked breeds I kept, and I let most of my Dutch go to my good friends Ray and Emma Whitcombe for them to enjoy and develop.
I kept some back and still breed the odd litter. I can't see me ever being without one or two in the shed.
