When we had that really cold snap back in January 09 I bought my 3 sows indoors to litter.
These plastic store boxes have proved excellent nurseries, draft free and the pigs get pleny of light.
Being clear we can watch them all the time. They come out every day for a run around. Better than TV any day!

The Carnation prop was doing well until Hamish decended on it, followed by his sisters. It's OK, I checked, Carnations are edible and they only had a nibble.
They were born in the house when we had those sub zero tempetures - and are still there!

ZZ and Tee Pee came with me to Harrogate to do thier bit for the breed. They were thoroughly spoilt over the weekend and enjoyed all the petting they received from the public.
