At the moment my pigs are in 5 locations, the Garage, a Shed, a lean too attached to the house, a block outside, and in the house.
I will be getting a new shed 20 ft x 10 ft shed later in the year, then I can have all of my pigs under one roof - how excited am I !!!
The lean too
The lean too is great. It is attached to the house on one side, and has a solid wooden side the other. The roof is clear plastic so lets in plenty of light. Doors are at both ends, so I can get a good breeze going through.
There is room for a grooming table, cupboard and chair, plus plenty of storage on top of the hutches.
I keep most of my breeding pigs here.
The Shed
The shed has, as you can see, seen better days. However it is solid, dry and cosy. The windows let in plenty of light. It is 10 ft by 8 ft.
I have one block of 8 ft x 2 ft in hutches the shed that house my old retired pigs, youngsters growing on and my pets.
My new shed will be put up in the same location, and the old shed moved and used as storage.
